Touch for Rothko

I had designed interfaces, motions and interactions for two interactive surfaces in Daugavpils Mark Rothko Art Centre. The interactive surfaces are about the history of Artillery Arsenal building, where the art centre is located in. It is an honour to me to create something related Rothko.

This video for explaining the motion for one of these surfaces, which is about periods between 1831-1946. Arial typeface was client's invariable request. Texts seems tiny in this video, but please consider that, original screen of the interactive surfaces were much more larger. Reddish dots are just for this video to simulate touching effect. If no one touches the screen for some time, it turns back and starts from the opening scene automatically.
